U.K. stocks fell Thursday, as the FTSE 100 Index
closed down 1.08% at 7,113.39.
Of the FTSE 100 constituents, iron/steel company Evraz PLC
saw the largest drop Thursday, as shares tumbled 12.59%
Shares of building materials/products firm Melrose Industries PLC
and mixed retailing company B&M European Value Retail S.A.
shed 7.30% and 5.84%, respectively.
a residential building construction company, and clothing business Burberry Group PLC
rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks dropped 4.43% and 4.15%, respectively.
a general mining company, saw the largest increase among FTSE 100 constituents, as shares rallied 5.19% on Thursday.
Shares of non-ferrous metals firm Antofagasta PLC
and technical services company Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC
climbed 4.77% and 3.71%, respectively.

rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks rose 2.05% and 1.98%, respectively.
